[Japan] Breathtaking view - with Kachi Kachi Ropeway

April 28, 2016

The "Kachi-Kachi" Ropeway offers you with 360 degree panoramic views which you can see Fuji Mountain, Lake Kawaguchiko plus the Minami Alps (Akaishi and Arakawa Mountain), it's located in Eastern of The Lake Kawaguchiko and this ropeway will be elevated in 1,075 meters .

You can take a round trip with ropeway again or follow the hiking trail which will took about 30 minutes with stunning views.

Other than beautiful view, what interested it's their very cute and friendly icon the rabbit and the raccoon which makes me curious what's the story behind it. There are different story from one to another, they said it appear on the old folks that the rabbit are not friends with the raccoon who sets him on fire and drowning him in a river, but another version of the story is the rabbit try to revenge the raccoon who could change himself into rabbit and pretend to be the rabbit and killed and then burn the wife of the rabbit.
It's a very terrifying story but beside that story behind it, the kids are love to see the cute and friendly statue of the rabbit and the raccoon.

What do they have in the observation deck? again you will be surprised they welcomed you with opened the small tea house called Tanuki Tea House that serves you little snacks and hot coffee, ice cream, juice as a leisure spot for tourist sightseeing.
other than Tanuki Tea House is there are some spots that they believe will bring you some luckiness.

If you are lucky you will see the Fuji Mountain..but as you can see it's still beautiful...right?

Bell of Tenjo...it is believed that if you ring the bell and wish in your heart it will come true

can you imagined if all the Sakura bloom in here?..will be more beautiful

Kawarake Throwing...you can buy on Tanuki Tea House for the cups and throw it inside of the rope in the archway and your wish will come true.

we are going back with "Kachi kachi" Ropeway

to be honest i'm kinda afraid of height but who can resist this beautiful view :)
