Mostly people called it Ubud Monkey Forest but the real name is Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary or in Balinese Mandala Suci Wenara Wana.
This place is actually have a spiritual value and a philosophy behind the forest that should be able to bring the peace around the world and as the conservation area of the plants and animal.
In this forest there are sacred temples, river, park, conservation area, public hall and gallery and also open stage.
I honestly glad that i'm survive from the monkey tragedy..hhhaha
Because they said the monkey its' kinda wild in here and lot and lot of story about the monkey stealing and broken your gadgets or accessories and not to mention the disease from the monkey like rabies.
the tips is try to walk in a group and leave everything your belonging in car or lock your backpack, take off your sunglasses and most of it don't bring any kind of food or drink, especially the sweet one but if you want to take a picture with the monkey there are stalls to buy some bananas for the monkey.
